First time visiting here, and I was impressed. The service was fast and had my first Japanese style of French toast without filling, and it was delicious.

This place has been around for a long time. Sorry busy for weekend during lunch and breakfast. It originated from a food court and now to this restaurant. It's your typical HK cafe but have store front dishes with congee as well. Service is normal for a Chinese place which is poor if you're use to going to places like Jack Astor. Place is clean and decent, don't expect something spectacular. Come here for the food. I had the bake chicken and pork with cream sauce with cheese on spaghetti. It's was hot from the oven and had good tenderness from both pieces of meat. The portions was good and came with a soup and a drink. This meal was under 10 before taxes and tip.

Looking for HK style cafe close in Scarborough. Ming Noodle Cafe has been around for many years and I drove by it many times and never had a chance to try it until today. We order 2 x Hainanese chicken with rice comes chinese pork bone soup and choice of coffee or HK hot milk tea. The milk tea here is fantastic and they serve it in the trademark HK style cup. Perfect amount of carnation milk with steeped black tea The chicken was seasoned well served cold but it was tender. You can dip it in hot sauce or green onion ginger sauce (my favourite). We also ordered black pepper steak on rice. Also comes with soup and choice of coffee or HK hot milk tea. The steak was covered thick layer of black pepper sauce. They used the grilling steak flanks, which were marinated and tender. We also ordered preserved egg with minced pork congee which came with choice of fried dough fritters or coffee/milk tea. Overall the experience was positive and the food came out relatively fast. The restaurant was busy for 12pm lunch rush. Only critique was the table we were seated was next to the washroom and the main entrance so it was cold. If you want some HK style food that won't break the bank then give this place a try.

Good HK style cafe with good deals on Combo set meals. Their Satay Beef Vermicelli is very flavorful and not watered down. The egg sandwich is normal but not fluffy. HK Milk Tea was delicious!

Came here with my dad on a Sunday afternoon and both dishes ordered were delicious! I got the baked pork chop in tomato sauce and it was one of the best that I had. Service was fast and restaurant was spacious.

This is a classic hidden gem! I saw a few reviews about service being bad but for a classic Asian spot, you aren’t coming here for stellar service. You come here for food. Good food. And this place knows how to make good food. I personally received okay service and everyone was polite. I ordered pork liver congee from the Chinese breakfast menu. If you aren’t adventurous, maybe don’t order that. But it was the most perfectly cooked pork liver I’ve had. The pork liver was tender but still had a nice bite. The congee was served piping hot and so hot that it cooked the slightly medium rare pork liver. I know because I burned my tongue. 2 bowls of congee for 8.45/bowl AND came with a big plate of Chinese donuts. That is a breakfast deal I can get down with.

Classic Hong Kong cafe with an extensive menu - anything you’re craving they have it here! Came here for lunch and got the shrimp dumplings noodles in soup and the fried spaghetti with pork chop from their lunch special (comes with a drink and soup) TIP: get their homemade chili oil! I believe it had a bit of XO sauce so its on the sweeter side compared to most chili oils

Solid cha chan tang! Breakfast is priced well and have a nice customizable combo (main breakfast plus a side of protein or sandwich). Lunch menu has been expanded post covid so there is much more selection. My new favourite/ surprise was the pork cheek and salty fish with fried rice wrapped in lotus leaf. Huge portion, generous amounts of meat, tastes great and comes with soup and hot drink. For 13.45, it’s a hell of a deal. Service is not great, but food and are key for these types of places.
